Lowering Springs and Launching

Lowering Springs and Launching
I just got back from the track and my 60 foot times need improvement. My best 60 is in my sig, but even then I was spinning so I know it can be improved on.
I have BBK springs on their way to my door. I know that lowering your car often hurts the car's ability for a good launch. I had planned on new shocks/struts and control arms (Maybe just lowers for the time being)
Will this setup help my launch any, or hurt it?

RE: Lowering Springs and Launching
The real thing that effects launch is the spring rate, and how much you drop the car.
I did the foxbody 4cyl front springs and roush racing rears, and the car hooks MUCH better than it did on the stock stuff, as well as dropping it noticably. Its not a slammed to the ground look, but its a nice drop and it still handles/launches well.

Hmmm...I ordered BBK's, which should be a 1.5 inch drop all the way around. Like I was talking about in one of my other threads though, I'm not sure I'll like them and almost regret buying them. I'm still considering Ebaying them and going with another setup, and I like the idea of yours.
I bet I could do fox front, roush (Or C springs or whatever I could find) rears, new shocks/struts and new control arms and hook like a **** while looking good too...

I am at work, so I have no access to pics, but there is a before/after thread around here with pics. Shows before and after the suspension install (one shows just the fronts, another thread shows both).
it looks pretty good IMO, its not a super low drop but I don't like that look anyway. the wheels fill the well nicely with no rubbing etc, and they don't look like someone jammed them up into the wheel wells either.

Disgregard, I found it. Now that I see it I remember it too
You're making this even tougher for me That looks good, and if it handles well and launches well...I may just say screw it and see what I can get for those BBKs. Mustang Warehouse on Ebay sells all four Roush springs for $160, I just shot them an email asking about just getting the rear springs. I bet fox springs can be had pretty easily.

RE: Lowering Springs and Launching
The guys on my other board have about talked me into just going with B springs.
So now it looks like B springs, fresh shocks/struts, and at least lower control arms. Upper ca's depending on cash.
