Default Question about cam purchase.

This may seem dumb but I just don't know. When you purchase a cam/cams online, are you buying 1 cam or 2? They are around $550-$600 and when you go to check out it says item total is 1. Is that for 1 cam or a set of 2? Sorry for the silly question but I just don't know and i'd rather not call them. TIA.

Thanks for the quick response. I really thought it was for 2 since it's almost $600....but I wasn't sure. You never know.

SOHC=Single overhead cam. There is one cam over each cylinder head, and there are two cylinder heads, so two cams in total.

DOHC=Dual overhead cam, which means 2 cams over each cylinder head, meaning 4 in total.

I knew that Xemeth, I just didn't know if they sold them 1 at a time. Which I think would be very stupid but like I said you never know. I've never bought cams before.
