J/w, isn't there a write-up of a way to DIY using parts from the hardware store? Or did I just dream something up?

Thank you guys for the feedback.

Just two other questions:
1. Where exactly do you mount the module at? In the trunk or where?
2. Do the majority of them have the sequential lights when you have hazards on?

Once again, thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.
Mine's just chilling in the trunk... since it's got the jumper to change it's style (stock, 1-2-3 on-all off, and 1-2-3 on 1-2-3 off) I needed a way to get to it... it's a little black box about 4"x6"x3" that I just velcroed to the side. All the wiring is tucked away nicely.

Yes, the hazards are sequential, brakes are sequential also.

the kit me and shadowdrake is awsome. i love it and get so many complemnets on it. the only thing is dont mount it on the inside of the rear quarter. mount it on the bottom of the trunk if you can. i hear a clicking all the way upfront from the box turning on and off.

It is similar to it, but I'd think the modules you're ordering off line would be a little more reliable. According to MW, they has had them on a year and not had any problems. But they are only sequential.

How ShadowDrake had stated, you have a choice on the type that it displays, either chase, sequential or regular. With that kit you have to splice some wires to connect it in. And the kit that DTK put on there is a little more user friendly to where you just connect the harness but it is sequential lights only.

Eh, mine does require a little splicing but I assure you it's pretty tough to mess up, everything is color coded and the instructions are great. I got it all done, and my outside bulbs didn't work, checked the instructions, there was an answer to that problem right in there... I didn't have a good power source for the box. There's answers to just about anything that can go wrong in the instructions for my kit.

I know he doesn't want me to advertise it, but I got mine from meter4it.com ... The little animation to the left is the way mine are set right now (they're a little slower than that I think). I paid a little extra but worth it, was easy to install.
+1 I am glad I paid the extra for mine. I love the adjustablilty

I believe I did state that some splicing is needed for the kit that you had purchased.

The other kit that DTK has, they have two kits where no splicing is needed at all, it is just a newer harness you connect.
