Power to weight ratio my friend. Just think about how much money it took for the civic to get that fast.

Besides, you can't pick up chicks in a civic.

Theres nothing unbelievable there...the last time I was at the track I ran a CRX that ran a 12.1xx...the platforms are probably very similar to this Civic.

With enough money and work those things can definitely be fast considering how light they are.

Im waiting on a few things before I start my IC install. PP, pulley and mini race.

 

when i get some money. I got it runnin alot better. i found a nice size boost leak. It ran 8.60 @ 88.9 mph. 2.2 60' so i imagine its runnin perty close to what it should although i still have some belt slip issues to take care of.

I need to buy a better quality belt andclean my pulleys. ever since my car overheated and got antifreeze on the belt its been slipping. O and FYI belt dressing only works for like 15 secs then it just makes it worse! till you clean all the crap off

 

o and so you know. The belt size i had to use was 106.3" that was a perfect fit for mine.

 

So are you taking your car to the track after installing the IC and PP before having it checked/tuned on a dyno?

Be sure to show us some numbers after.

 

There's a guy around here who has a 1200hp Civic. But who cares how fast it is...it's still a Civic.
