Couple of months back at the track..Ratty ol honda civic ran consistant 11.40's .....well,,it was bracket racing,,and the second round of elimi. it popped a head gasket or cracked something....AF everywhere....looked like hell(stripped out POS)butwas fast,,,for a short while anyway...Still a civic....always will be...

 

For one the damn cobra should know better than to race a fully built turboed honda from a roll. From a dig the cobra wins...hands down.

 

It definately takes a lot more money to squeeze out enough hp to matter in a honda.

I spent almost all of the money I earned in Iraq on a 99 integra gsr. I bought the car for 11k then spent another 8k in mods. When I was done it barely ran a 13s flat - all motor. That was in Colorado Springs at about 6k ft, so that would equate to about a low to mid12 at sea level. It was the worst spending of funds in my life. That was back in 2004 and I am still kicking myself.

 

Hey Sonic, NEVER use that belt dressing crap. If you get oil,AF or whatever on any belt, while the car is running spray brake cleaner on it.
