just wonderin if it is possible to get a maxed out stock 2v motor to run 11s safely....if my car made around 400rwhp on nitrous could i his 11.9 with a great 60ft and without weight reduction?
I know a 2v will run in the 11's. I have a 2v built with Cobra Alum block, Procharger, MSD ignitioin, Eagle h-rods, Probe forged/dished pistons, Cobra crank, Bullit intake, 90mm MAF, NOS-fogged intercooler, billet fuel rails, 42lb injectors, Aeromotive fuel system,control arms, subframes, etc, etc. and it hits mid 11's. But that's well over 500 rwhp.

BUT, 400 rwhp pulling stock weight does not come out in the 11's using the math and physics. 1hp pulls so many lbs of weight over a fixed distance in a fixed time. Because tires, driver, etc. all make a difference, this "what if" looks like a mid-twelves car.

The best/first dollars should be spent on forged lower parts. Then add as much power as you want. Good luck!

Using math and physics, its impossible to estimate what a car will do with 400 RWHP, not knowing the torque, friction coefficient or weight of the vehicle. So i say stick to something youre good at (which isnt math and physics) and dont spread BS.

The simple version:

1HP = 33,000 FT LBS in 1 minute

horsepower is a measurement of power (like watts)
Torque is a measurement of turning force

In conclusion:
Dont type about sh*t you dont know

^ lol, gearing was never even factored into that 'math' if thats what you want to call it.

You can... just need slick and a built rear along with gearing.

So that's why my car will run mid 12's with 330rwhp?
and Code's car ran 12.oh's with less than 350rwhp?

so.. you were racing where... the himalaya track at 40,000 ft? you dont account for elevation or air temperature in your "math and physics" either. im labeling you a NOOB until you prove me wrong
