Default X-PIPE: Cats or no cats

Ok, just bought a bone stock 01 gt. 1st thing to go is going to be the exhaust. Im considering an off-road, or a catted Magnaflow x-pipe. Does anybody have an idea what the flow rates are? Id like to keep it emissions legal so it will pass a sniffer test, but i was told the o/r will pass as long as i have mil eliminators. Is the high flow cats going to flow anywhere close to an o/r pipe? Price is not an issue cause i can get the catted pipe used for the same price of a new o/r. Thanks for the help.

Well, if you go with an SLP or Bassani catted X, they are modular and the cats can be taken on and off whenever you want. So you can take them off for regular use, then throw them on when inspection rolls around.
