How much am i looking at on spending on replacing the syncros for the shift from 1st to 2nd? That is where I am having the only trouble.

Is my warranty voided since I have mods done and a short throw shifter?

 

Call the dealership and tell them the mods you have. I'd take the shifter out just in case. Tell them what's going on and see if they'll warranty it.
