i just cleaned my air filter and put it back on. now i have the trouble code bank 2 o2 sensor out. after that i got a code p1157 saying my car is running lean. i checked for vaccume leakes on the intake and when i rev the motor i can hear it sucking but it has always done it.all the hoses and clamps are on right.i added slp loudmouth x pipe with cats and a cat back system about a month ago. i put it on so i know the o2 sensors were good. the car has bbk cold air intake,70mm throttle body,upper intake elbow, underdrive pulleys, and a diablosport tuner for power adders. any help would be great cause im lost on where to start. if my o2 sensor is out that wouldnt make it run lean would it? it should make itveryrich right? any help would be great thanks.

 

First, this should probably go in the tech section. I would just get the O2 sensor replaced. I would think you need to do this anyway. With the sensor out, I believe the PCM will justuse a stock programmed mixture which I would also think would be rich, not lean. For what its worth, Bank 2 is the drivers side but you probably knew that anyway. I am troubleshooting a possible O2 sensor problem myself but my code is calling out a possible bad Cat. I am hoping its just the sensor.
