And the meaning of this thread was?......

I've never seen anyone say FULL boost when refereing to Twin Screws, but you seeINSTANT boost a lot. There's a difference between the two. Especially when companies keep making design improvements to theirsuperchargers so that they HOLD the boost they make.

Twin Screw, Centri, or Nitrous, power is power. Different blowers have different characteristics. Twin Screws shine in the lower RPM's, and Centri's shine in the higher RPM range. Nitrous, you have it when youwant it.

Some people like Centris because they prefer most of their power up top. Others like Twin Screws because of the low end power and grunt from the low endTQ they feel. Nitrous guys are just nutty and don't know what the hell they want [8D]

I give props to anyone with either.

Hey, Hey, wasn't trying to start a KB vs Centri thread, we have plenty of those already. Just thought is was interesting to see a KB build boost like that. BTW I've heard lots of people (including KBs website) say Full boost instantly after 2k. But I guess a 9-14 psi kit on a 99-04 gt ids a hell of a lot different than a 20 psi gt500.

Doesn't matter how fast it gets to boost. Look at a dyno graph on a KB. The numbers fly straight up from the moment the gas is stomped. Personally I like the gradual climb of my procharger better though. It's a lot easier to get off the line without lighting the tires up.
Yeah and i prefer to date not very hot girls becuase they're less maintenance
Looks like your comparing the gradual climb of a procharger to a "not very hot girl"??? Does that mean that a KB is compared to a "very hot girl"??? All that torque gets you no where without sus. What 60 fts do you run?

Another thing that got me thinking was the head flow capabilities. The gt500 heads will kill the 2v heads when it comes to flow. Since boost is just a measure of resistance naturally the 2v will show higher boost readings faster.
