Default short throw

I have a '99 and I want to put a short throw shifter on it, but I am not sure what transmission it has, I know the changed them for '01. But I dont know what mine is.

i thought they threw two diff types of manual trans in the 01+ i could be wrong, so if i am just kill me

yea they put a t45 in the lower year, and the 3650 in the upper. i fall in the t45 range

but... to the OP just get W/e shifter you can get your hands on for cheap. if you can get a tri-ax for under 100 go for it. IMO they are all basicly the same mgw may be a bit better...but for 100 bucks more (they cost 200) ill take a used shifter n e day.

i like my mgw, ive drivin cars with the tri-ax and pro5.0 they seemed solid too. anything is better than shifting that garbage can they call a stock shifter.
