RE: Gonna try something kinda dangerous tomorrow.
He's supposed to be around 700 when it's done. I talked to him last night and he's decided to replace the pipe he run over and sell it. He's had the car for about five years now and want's a vette now. The nitrous don't go with it but everything else does. It's got manley rods, .030 over manley pistons with the coating on them for nitrous use, all ARP fasteners, stage 2 port job on the heads with oversize stainless steel manley valves, 65 mm throttle body, anderson power pipe, 03 cobra radiator with bigger fans, long tube headers, off road H, MAC catback, Tremec tranny (think it's a TKO), aluminum drive shaft, Moser axles, rear end girdle, 4.10 gears,D-1 procharger, 8 rib kit and a custom tune. I'll get pics of it as soon as I can. The car makes 500 rwhp on the blower alone. Remove the torque flaps in the intake and it'll make around 570 rwhp. He want's 15,000 for it. If anyones interested PM me.

A buddy of mine has a 96 cobra engine in a fox body.. He was running a 3.125 pulleymaking around 19lb of boost@ 7200rpms and I believe around a130 shot or something.. and he put down outrageous numbers (cant think of them at the top of my head.. but I believe it was around 700hp).. He told me it was a stock block too, but I think that is BS... Then he went from the 130 shot (give or take) to a 175 shot (give or take) and cracked a piston.

He should be running T bolt clamps, and so should you, along with pipping that has a good bead on the ends so that it won't pop off.
After I get my I/C setup done its going totake alot more than just 20 PSI of boost to pop off a pipe. You literaly can;t even turn the pipping inside of the coupler no matter how hard you try, even with two people doing it, forget getting it to pop out.
