Default Exhaust Hangers Detached! UPDATE: Problem Found

Whenever I step on the gas slowly my steering wheel/steering wheel column vibrates (and so does the floor of the car). It happens even if the car is in park or neutral but it doesn't happen after my car is at a certain speed.

I think a couple ofloose exhaust hangers could be causing this problem. What do you guys think?

In neutral sitting still or rolling down the road and then putting it in neutral it still does it? If your sitting still in neutral and it vibrates then you have a problem with your flywheel or harmonic balancer. If it does it driving down the road then you have issues with the balance of your tires or maybe your driveshaft. Have you had the driveshaft pulled lately?

It does it in neutral sitting still that's how I cancelled out it being tire related. What's puzzling is that the driveability of the car stays the same throughout all gears. It shifts great, accelerates without hesitation and idles without noise (stock exhaust).
I did notice that a couple exhaust hangers are broken off though and I figure that when a lot of gases are flowing through, it could cause the tubing to move exccesively and cause the bottom of the car to rumble.

I haven't had the driveshaft pulled yet. It's my second week with the car and this weekend is when I have all the free time to work on it and take it to shops.

it might be that... I snapped an exhaust hanger on the rear and it vibrated against the framerail, and it also clanked the swaybar whenever I hit a bump... it was terrible... but I got the hanger fixed for 45 bucks... but now I think I knocked it outta whack again

UPDATE: I took the carto get its exhaust done and when it was finishedit stillrumbled underneath so I asked the guy to accelerate it and let me know what he thought it was. Right away he said "motor mount"but to take it in Saturday morning so they can check if its that for sure.

Now what do you guys think? Motor mount? haha oh and btw I installed flowmasters with high flow cats. Just got the car two weeks ago so there's still alot more I have to do

It does sound like a motor mount. See what they say Sat.
