So keep in mind price and bang for the buck. Which should I choose?

ah yes, that is what i was thinking. But there is alot more to consider than just performance. Like overall price, and gas mileage, and of corse insurrance.

Gas mileage will be pretty similar, depending on how well you keep your foot off the gas with a Termie. An 05 GT and Termie should be within a few grand of eachother. An older Cobra would be a bit cheaper on insurance and price. Overall, financially, an 01 would be the best choice.

You can get a Cobra for right around 25k with VERY low miles. This would be the same price (or near) for an 05. Also 01 Cobras are still very pricey.

And bang for the buck.... You CANNOT beat the results you will see with the terminator.

Dude just take a trip up to the 05 Section..... The guys that care about performance are all kicking themselves for not getting an 03/04 Cobra
