Okay guys I just put a deposit on a 96 mustang GT and I do not know how to go about getting it back from NJ to MD... I know I need to get a temp tag to get it home and get it inspected and what not. My question I guess is how do you get the temp tags... is it a PIA?

 

Where u live in maryland? i live in white plains , i dont know how to get it home from NJ, but i know wants you get in maryland you go to the dmv. And show them Bill of Sale,Title,etc, then there give you 30 day temp tags, which you have 30 days till get it Maryland Inspected, you bring the inspecton slip to dmv and get your permit tags. Listen thu i bought a car and it was a SOB to get passed Maryland inpscetion, they failed me becuse car was lowerd, clear headlights, not stock tires, flowmaster mufflers, window tint. Remeber all this when buying a used car it ended up ****ing me .

 

I live in the towson area.I already have one mustang so I toyed with the idea of using its tags... but you know thats some bad **** if you get caught. My current mustang passed inspection with tint and being lowered... and the new one is very comparable. Plus I have a connection right up the street for inspection. I know I will have to take the tint off most likely though

 

u lucky man. what shopp? i just bought a stang from the caterton baltmore area. he said call if you have any probs. Well he never told me where the key was for the WHEEL LOCKS. i call and he hasnt picked up in 2 days .
