if you got be by a stock ss with 100 shot, something is wrong - or your bottle psi was low... you should have destoyed him
look an ls1 is not going "blow you away" but he will beat you pretty solid, if you get a launch on him it can be ok - ive raced an auto ls1 from a dig and i was at his door the whole time to 120, I got 4.10, LT's (no tune) and i drive a vert.. so its not a lost cause, but your not going to "beat him"

A full exhaust auto LS1 with a tune, stall, and drag radials is capable of mid to low 12s. I have seen this happen consistently.

totally agree with you, as i said before, a had an auto with those mods running 13.1 with DR's
