I raced one just the other day on the freeway. We started from 55 and stayed even all the way till 100 then I pulled a car and a half on him and let off at 130. So I think they kinda die off once they start going. All wheel drive dosnt do to good for top end its all about the dead stops and droping the clutch and not spining.

Actually what I did was turn the OD off then droped it into second then back into D and it just goes. Its nice it put the car right to about 4k as were if I was to just floor it it would down shift once to 3rd and be low 3k. Got to hate automatics lol. You really have to drive them alot to actually get all that they are worth.
EDIT: For got to mention in my previous post that it had exhaust from what I could hear and it had a couple sti badges. Dont know if that changes anything. My friend that thinks STIs are the king of all didnt believe me but what does he know he drive a solar and thinks it a low 14s car LOL.

I've said it before, I will probably say it again.
99(?)-03 WRX sedans are pretty much dead even stock for stock with new edge GT's. The GTs have a little more power, so they are better at drag racing, however the WRX can corner better than the GT can... again not by a lot, these cars compete directly on everything from price of purchase, to gains per dollar on mods. The GT is more of a fun car, the WRX is more of a practical car... that's about all there is to it.
Oh, don't forget: Slowbaru wontimprezya - clutch slayer!
