I was thinking about going with a methanol kit for my car. Does anyone know if the gains are worth the buck?

 

Gave me 48 more horse and that is with -20 washer fluid...not even a 50/50 mix

 

How often do you need to refill the kit and how much is for a gallon?

 

I am not a good source on that...My 5.0 is one of four vehicles I have so..I have only put about 1000 miles on it this summer after I installed the Meth...

Depends on how much boost you are running and how often you get into the Boost...it only gets used under boost...

Snow Performance says 12 Full Throttle 1/4 mile runs is how long a 2 quart bottle will last....

I use Winter Blend -20 degree washer fluid for like $1/gallon

whats a methonal kit?

 

meth kit is methanol alchol and water mix used by injecting it into the air intake the water cools the air charge through evaporation and thje alchol also helps with cooling the air charge but they say it takes 93oct pump fuel to about 120oct.
