Default Tires

Ok next oil change im getting tires. Which is 5k miles so that will be like 2 weeks lol. And Im not to sure what size to go with. I have 265/35-18R right now. And my rims are 9 inches wide. Heres the problem I want a taller tire because it looks retarded right now the way it is But the fronts rub slighly with these. And the tires on it now are summis. I want to know of a good tire combo. I love the look of the wide backs and skinnier fronts but I would like to know of what size to go with. By the way no drag radials or anything that really sticky they need to kinda last but not be outragiously priced.

Thanks
Matt

Falken FK-452 (300 threadwear)
275/35R18 fronts and 295/30R18 in the rear if you have a 10" width in the back or bigger.

or same combo as top but in Nitto NT555 (300 Threadwear) not the DR one.

why did you put 30 tall in the back? I was thinking of going taller cause 35s are short it dosnt fill the in the wheel well enough. Unless them wider will give the illusion it is. Pictures would be much appreciated.

265/35 and 295/30 have the same "width" between tire surface and wheel lip. Heres the math for tire sizes. First number, width in mm, second number(aspect ratio), % of tirw width is the width b/w wheel lip and tire surface, last number, of course wheel diameter. SO 265mm=26.5cm 26.5cm/2.54 = 10.433in 10.433in * 35%=3.65in inbetween wheel lip and tire surface.

Ok that helps out alot I was thinking it was all the same size. Why the **** cant they just do it all in inches. It would be alot simpler.

well actually... i went 30's because the speedo wont be off to far, just 2mph lower than what it reads since the diameter is smaller than stock and if i went 35's it'd be 1or2mph higher than what it reads... so i'd rather be knowing its a tad slower than what it reads than being higher and think im going that speed when im not.

plus falken FK-452 don't make 295/35ZR18's anyways.. lol
