Default How Long???

I am thinking about getting the vortech kit from MPH but i was wondering how long will my stock clutch last if i get it? and what kinda power should i put down with 8 or 10 psi? i have an 03 with o/r x-pipe and bassini catback.

I'm pretty sure you engine can handle 10 psi without too much problem. I'd get the meth kit as well, just to be on the safe side. Plus, when you put that kit on there, it adds somewhere in the ballpark of 50 hp.

As for the Vortech itself, have you looked in the Pipes Boost and Juice section of this forum? If not, go to it and look at the sticky threads at the top. Find the $1500 vortech kit and build it. Do that and you'll have a boatload of money to play around with.

As for the numbers, I couldn't say. If you look around here long enough, someone has to have a similar setup and their numbers are usuall posted.

How long it lasts depends on how much you abuse it. I seriously doubt the stock clutch will have trouble holding the amount of power you'll be making. Drive it carefully (not slipping it with your foot) and it'll be fine.
