Well guys so far the journey has been great..... Sense i got my mustang, i have isntalled CAI, lt bbk headers, o/r hpipe, pen spacer, magnaflow mufflers, king cobra clutch, and steeda triax short throw.. i'm pleased to say the car is running great, but i haave one question.... I got my Xcal2 the other day and i was working with it* got it from brenspeed, they tuned for lth and such so the engine lights dont coem on with the o2 sensors*, anyhow so i'm currrently running the 91 tune, however i filled my car up with 87... when it runs out of gas i'm going to put the 91 in it, .. ... my bad lol... anyhow, can anyone help me with learning what this tuner can actually do , and how i can get the most out of my 99 gt with my current set up.

I go head and head with my friends 98 cobra, he has only under drive pulleys... and flowmaster mufflers, and i'm currently schooling my other firends 06 gt *has gears*...er well they were changed**

 

Are you really schooling an 06 GT with gears?? He must be a really bad driver because with your mods I don't see that happening. Are you crazy running a 91 tune on 87? Do you want to do damage to your car? Also you should just be able to scroll through what options are availible on the tuner no?

 

first off what year is your car?

second off either change the tune to 87 or put octaine booster in there ASAP. doing what your doing could cause detonation which is a very bad thing.

 

Be careful running that 87 on a 91 tune!!

 

Well the tuner didnt come with much intructions, i didnt think it was a big issue to use the 91 tune, until i just put 91 on next fill up, should i just change it to 87 tune utnil then? ...man i feel stupid about that... anyhow, yes he was staying with me in third, but after that i'd leave him in 4th...
