ok i have a 7 hour drive to school all highway and im doin gears by xmas at the latest my question is i want to know if 4.10s will be to much im thinkin they will probly be like 2700-2900 at like 75mph but there is a track 10 miles from school that i get into forreal cheap cause im a wyotech student so i want a good track gear cause i go at least once a month sometimes more so basicly im trying to decide between 3.90s and 4.10s i know this questions been asked alot but i didnt want to search it because of the i wanted to no about the long drive on the highway

 

i also drive about 9hrs to school but only make the trip 4 times a year. so i figured o well if im going to do gears might as well get my $$ worth. with 4.30s at 70mph im at about 2500rpm.

 

I have 4:10 gears and my wife has stock gears. On the 45 min drive (all freeway) to Nashville we get the same gas mileage.

 

My previous job had me driving about 70 miles round trip daily. I thought my 4.10's would be a pain in the ***, but it really wasn't. Either way you look at it, gas pricesare to f*cking high even if you don't have 4.10's or 4.30's

 

you wont be able to tell much of a diff from 3.73 4.10 they are pretty much about the same
i drive on the high way with my 4.10 all the time.in 5th at like 70mphfrom about2000rpm-2300rpm
