The first youtube i saw was the mach1 with a built bottomn end and with the procharger. How much hp and psi would produce. I know that cobra has to be at 600 easy because of the ported eaton and big shot of nos. So how does that cobra lose that bad. I would think that cobra would be at 20 psi compared to the procharger
A forged shortblock/F1A mach 1 has more than enough for a punk *** eaton with a 150 shot on the heavyer 03 cobra.

Centri FTW. Seriuously, this video needs to be posted every time someone starts talking about how centris lag and/or are not good from a roll. Insta boost... thats what the gear selector is for!
+10000
Have either one of these videos been postedup before? They were completely new to me! Glad i found them though! Both those stangs motivate the hell out of me!

Another example of how people porting and pulleying eatons are getting what they think... there are several tech writes up on this, but the lesson to learn is that its about power band, not peak power

The powerband of even a ported eaton is excellent, but its still a punk compared to a KB/aftermarket centri so far as numbers are concerened. Its just not a twin screw/centri blower, its an eaton style, with all the inherent failures of design (heat, inefficentcy etc etc).

There was a local guy I was pretty familiar with, with a ported heaton, midpipe, cat, intake boltons, and a pulley/tune. Car went 11.60s with a 1.7 60' and 11.40s on a 75 shot (running rich on the shot). Ported eaton/nitrous termys are no joke, but compared to a aftermarket style 4v with lots of boost and a buiilt motor... well its just not fair.

The entire point was though, that everyone talks bout how the centris will lag behind a twin screw in a roll race/from down low etc.... its just not true. So long as your at 3500+ RPM it takes off like a rocket instantly... as this poor termy owner found out lol.

Really, what killed that termy there was the high RPM band of that F1A + 4v + built motor. I expect that sucker was probably turning over 7500+ RPM and still puling hard at redline, thats the real bueaty of a centri.

I can't wait for my new shortblock... screw down low TQ... I want a 6500+ RPM redline and lots of horsepower to go with it!
