well looks like your car will never run again because if you push that kind of power on that set up your motor will not last so its up to you either pay someone, learn how to do it or blow your car up not trying to be a dick just letting you know how it is

Good advice, ok so the new list:

1.Manley Piston/Manley Forged Rod R/A - 11cc dish
2. PIHeads
3. VT Stage II blower cams - or - Custom Grind about equal to <--
4. P-51 Fox Lake intake w/ fuel rails
5. Accufab 75mm TB
6. SLP LT headers
7. SLP catted X-pipe
8. VORTEC SUPERCHARGER V-2 SQ

the pi heads will not flow that much more than the NPI heads on blown applications. if your goin to do a cam now, id say wait on the heads. that right there will hit 500rwhp, but just remember the closer you get to 500, the more youll need to upgrade your fuel system. If you want 500rwhp, id say cobra fuel tank, dual cobra pumps, KB Boost a pump, 42# injectors and so on.

if your goin to do the bottom end it would ultimately be cheaper just to buy a shortblock. mmr has the 600 or 900 shortblock setup for under 3k!
if your deadset on just forging the internals i would say try this:
manleypiston 9:1 compression (when you do heads stage 2 heads it drops the compression down 3/10 or so...so youd see 8:7 or so...so ifyou go any lower it would be a dog down low)
manley rods
cobra crank
mph custom blower cam
cam springs
either DIY intercooler or paxton air to air
Hooker headers
BBK shorty midpipe
THR hardballer intake
High volume oil pump

I like where your heads at... but I wouldnt waste my time on the new heads... used PI heads will help emensely and you can find them really cheap... I like the P-51 and blower cams you got in mind... that will be the key to getting well over 400rwhp... I also like the LT's and x-pipe...

Another option of money is an issue is to do a PI intake instead of the P-51... Im sure the P-51 is alot more efficient... but price wise.

Sounds like a fun project... keep us updated on it.

+1 the PI intake is alot better than people give it credit. It flows pretty well, it just inst the best for nitrous(if it backfires 9/10x your gonna need a new 1)

SLP LT are a waste IMO... they do the same thing as other LT but cost you like $300 more

Yeah, but they won't rust away like the cheaper ones will.

Oh and I agree with everyone else here. If you want that kind of power buld the bottom end first. If you don't want to spend that kind of money, just do a PI swap (maybe blower cams)and water/meth injection and leave it at that. It will max out your stock bottom end.

With the suspension set-up nearly complete, I finally put a plan down for the engine. Let me know what you think. List possible parts that might be better, or any seguestions, or anything that I am missing for a complete motor.

1. Patriot Performance Stage II Heads
2. VT Stage II blower cams - or - Custom Grind about equal to <--
3. P-51 Fox Lake intake w/ fuel rails
4. Accufab 75mm TB
5. SLP LT headers
6. SLP catted X-pipe
7. VORTEC SUPERCHARGER V-2 SQ

I plan to keep the stock lower end, t-45, and rear endas I plan to be in the 450-500HP range.
Drop the P-51 and the heads, and get a set of either stage 2 blower or custom ground cams (mph ftw). As everyone is saying, the heads and P-51 are overkill on a stock shortblock car.

I also highly recommend going with the MPH mongoose kit with the V2SQ. It comes with everything you will need for a great running FI setup (along with a great tune from MPH to boot).

With the MPH mongoose SQ, LTs, mid, catback, stage 2 n/a cams, plenum and 70mm t/b (basically what your talking about) I made 420 WHP and 410 WTQ. This is withMPH never even seeing the car (first tune in fact). This is just about all you want to run on a stock shortblock without risking damage. 450 IMO is too much for a dd car your going to get on alot... the 420-430 WHP range gives you a bit of leeway (aka on a hot day, bad gas, etc etc).
