Default The MOD list

With the suspension set-up nearly complete, I finally put a plan down for the engine. Let me know what you think. List possible parts that might be better, or any seguestions, or anything that I am missing for a complete motor.

1. Patriot Performance Stage II Heads
2. VT Stage II blower cams - or - Custom Grind about equal to <--
3. P-51 Fox Lake intake w/ fuel rails
4. Accufab 75mm TB
5. SLP LT headers
6. SLP catted X-pipe
7. VORTEC SUPERCHARGER V-2 SQ

I plan to keep the stock lower end, t-45, and rear endas I plan to be in the 450-500HP range.

they are gonna have to detune the crap outta your car to keep from exceeding 450rwhp! id also look into MPHs custom cams! if you want an intake that performs well but wont cost as much, id say the Hardballer would be a nice option to check out!

Really? I thought max with this set upI'd get about 500rwhp.

I plan on having two tunes one titled "the everydayer" the other "use this if you don't want your tranny anymore"

Yeah, I hear good things about the MPH cams.

why are you not gonna build your bottom end, whats the point of having all that crap if you cant use it to the full potential?

My goal is probably 450-500rwhp. If you say that I am not using what I have in the list to the full potential, whatparts are over kill?

if you push your stock block past 450 your gonna blow that baysh up n e ways. so you might aswell build it. the heads are overkill imo if all you want is to max out your block. i think the charger tb plenum full exhaust and a cam will do the trick...without a 2g head bill..thats just my .02

sound advice. I think I would want to atleast change out to PI heads or maybe the FRPP for NPI.... I don't know... maybe I should rebuild the bottom end. With 130k I am not too worried about the crank, but those stamped rods i know are junk to begin with.

well of course if your not PI go PI but i wouldnt spend 2g on some heads if your not gonna build the bottom en. if you get a blower with full exhaust and intake your already getting close with a good tune

what everyone is sayin is that if you push 450-500 like you want to. your motor wont last a day without building the bottom end the smart thing to do would be take that money build up the shortblock then save up and do the parts listed above so you can put as much power as you want through it and not have to worry about being stuck on the side of the road

The biggest problem is that I have never messed with the bottom end before. There is a lot of stuff about it that I just don't know about. I know just about everything I need to do the rest, and I am not the type of person to pay someone else to do it. My feeling is that if you can't do it yourself then you don't deserve to have it! Atleast in regards to car mods.
