Okay, dont worry about it, I had the same issue w/ my car. First, pull the plugs and clean out an coolant that may have leaked down to the plugs. You may be getting steam from them and causing a rough idle. Now, take the manifold back off. Clean everything up good and clean. You will want new gaskets IMHO. I got Felpro ones for me but, your call. The coolant hoses in the back of the manifold going to and from the heater core may be leaking. Those hoses leaked for me. I would check that out good. I ended up putting silocone on them to seal them up good. Now, install the manifold back and carefully and correctly torque the bolts down in the right sequence. Dont get down, I did this at least three times and now can do an intake manifold on a 4.6L like its my job. Good luck and feel free to pm if you have any other questions.

There are two hoses. One goes from the manifold to the heater core, and one goes from the heater core to the manifold. They are right next to each other on the passenger side. You might want to try to see what error codes you are throwing for the CEL prob. You may have a vacum leak too. That may cause the CEL light to come on. good luck.

the MIL might have been the antifreeze in the plugs. try resetting your computer aftter you clean out all the plugs. (just disconnect the battery for like 15 min) as for the leak, just keep looking for it, try starting it up and let it run, then search around with a flashlight to see exactly where it is leaking from. when i put my manifold on it leaked between two of the plugs on the pass side right up front, but after liek 5 miles of driving the leak stopped and hasnt been there since. well g/l man!
