Default Need some dynamite @@

Finished installing the new manifold today , fired it up the first time and the o-rings for the fuel injectors were leaking. Went and got new o-rings , installed them put everything back together. Fired it up a second time , everything seemed pretty good, idled nice , good throttle response and everything seemed good to go. Went around the block , heading down the road everything seemed good and then all a sudden it started running rough so I hurried up and brought it home, popped the hood and I see steam like something was getting burned off the motor, yep , coolant laying on the block under the manifold !!!!!! I torqued the manifold bolts to 18 lbs like the instructions said and not sure where it's coming from. Needless to say i'm not too happy and I couldn't get any physical help from anyone unless I paid them an arm and a leg !

Maybe i'd be better off driving the damn thing off a cliff !!!!!!

Its alright, Brother. Take a deep breath, go get another gasket kit and a 12ver. You'll get it!

If you drive it off a cliff make sure you get it on tape.

the gaskets were pre installed onto the manifold, they are actually o-rings

Dumb question, but did you clean the mating surfaces before you put it on?

I was thinking the same thing but what about it running rough ? I seemed to be idling/ running good but that changed after I drove about 1/4 mile
