Does this look normal?

Ive had a knock for a few weeks now and its starting to get worse. I dont drive my car that much so I didnt bother me that bad. But know I need to use it for work and school and Im tearing it down to replace whatever is knocking. Does the oil in the head passage ways look normal. The engine was just rebuilt 1000 miles ago. It ran fine for about three days then it just started knocking. Have oil pressure and temp level in normal. We replace every internal part from rings to bearings. I babied it for the first 500 miles and changed the oil and the oil looked normal but with very fine metal shavings and we thought that might be the bearings working it self in. There is no more metal in the oil now its very clean. Could this be another bent rod? Any help would be appreciated. I just need some idea of what it could be because its stumping the hell out of me.
1000 miles ago. why so much rust and crap in valley? and no when I first got my car it had old style intake on I put on new style and my intake ports had no oil in them. something is not right take it back to whoever built it
Did you have the cylinder walls rehoned before you installed the new rings? looks like blow-by to me. Check and see how much oil is in that pcv hose from the passenger side valve cover.
I had the cylinder walls rehoned. Me and my grandfather rebuilt the whole thing. He is a machinist and I let him do all the rehoning and balancing. We had to regrind the crank down and we think that summit didnt send us the new sized bearings that we asked for. We didnt think about double checking that due to I needed a car asap and I figured they would have gotten it right. So I think it might be a main bearing. But the rusty color in the valley was I had a bad o-ring we I started the engine after the rebuild and I tried to clean up the antifreeze and forgot some.
