I agree with this. When I tried mine the first time it was so hard to get off i broke the stud and had to pay 400 bucks to get another one put in. But after that I learned my lesson and it was very easy. Took me maybe an hour to do it.
But you shouldn't have to take off the starter. Just do what everyone else said and get a swivel with some extensions and pb blaster.
