Welcome to the forums.

I suggest posting in SN95 4.6 2V section, they can help you out.

How much are you looking to spend and where do you want to go with the car? Daily driver, weekend toy with occassional track visits, track car.

Here is a list of some of the mods my buddy has on his 98 to give you an idea of different things. And right now we are installing 60lb injectors, 2800 sct maf, lontubes, and prochamber.

Vortech supercharger with aftercooler 12psi
pi upper intake manifold w/ bbk 80mm throttle body, trickflow pleneum, and 80 mm c&l mass air
custom 4 inch power pipe
Foxlake stage 1 heads
Vt stage 3 blower cams
fms shorties
bbk x pipe
flows
eagle rods and pistons, 03/04 cobra crank
block has been bored and milled .030 over
auburn rear end w/ 4.10 gears(this thing flies of the line)
gripps control arms
koni shocks and struts
eibach springs
full msd ignition DIS-4 module, with wires, blaster coils, and distrubtor
42 lb injectors, s.s fuel lines, walbro 255 in-tank and in-line fuel pumps
18 inch chrome mach 1s
autometer gauages
498rwhp, 481rwtq

I would swap the engine for a 408W carbed engine, an easy 500hp on pump gas and trouble free. An engine like that will cost you around $6000 all forged internals and aluminum heads. Lots of people have done it. It will cost some $2000 more to complete the swap though.

Good luck with your choice.

get SLP loudmouths everyone seems to like them and i have them and love them.they have a double walled style 3 inch tip which looks very nice. they are not hardly restricitve at all and are stianless steel. they will run you almost 500 but are worth every penny. they are highly recommended over mac i hear and also people like flowmaster. the sound of flowmaster is very distinct and sounds awesome. but they arent stainless steel unless they have changed havent looked at them for a long time.

sure he can do that but its illegal and if he has emmisions and they do the sniffer test which they would have to i think since the obdII would not recognize it correctly since its made for EFI. he would not pass and it would have to be considered a off road car only and would never get plates for it

First get a good free flowing exhaust. I know you wanna rumble up the block. Then start buyin parts for the PI swap piece by piece. Unless you can afford it all at once... But just go from there

You should sell it. 2v non-pi motors are junk and you'll waste your money modding it!

Ohh and what was Mexgt thinking??? This is the 2v 4.6 section...DUH
