Default Will There wheels Work?

I found an awesome deal on a set of rims and tires from a 2005+ GT. The wheels are p255 55zr17. will they fit my 1999, I am afraid i may get some wheel well contact issuse because the side wall size.

I am pretty sure they have different off sets. I think they will be sucked in more and it might not look to good. not postive though.

^^^^ correcto... there offset on the 05+ is i think +23 ours is +45... those wheels are going to be sucked in like 4 inches more than the stockers!!!! it looks horrible IMO!

You'll need wheel spacers! I'd save and get a set of aftermarket wheels! The 05+ stockers look like poo imo!

They won't work.
Plus I don't think you can squeeze in a 255/55/17 tire in our cars anyways. Too much sidewall height.
