i have a 98 gt(it has full exhaust, tuner and 10.5' wide tires out back). how fast would i be if i got a vortech s/c? in the 1/4mile? 1/8 mile?

 

depending on your mods but basically for every 100 hp lowers 1/4 time by 1 full second. w/ 360-370 whp you should be able to run low 13s is a good guestimate. How much hp do you currently have now?

 

im not sure how much hp i have currently, but all i have now is a tuner, intake, and exhaust. but still low 13's isn't that bad

 

low 13's? you must mean low 12's with that power. Me on motor making 270 is low 13's, so that extra 100 would be deep into the 12's
But I dont think his car will be making 370 with just a supercharger and intake exhaust... Remember its a 98...

 

I know I'm below 300rwhp (pretty sure)and I run low 13s to 13.0x on street tires. +360rwhp would be 12.50 or less with an exceptional driver. I'm thinking you should be able to run low 13s with a S/C. Get some DRs and suspension mods along with a good gear and you should be mid 12s or so. All depends on what you supplement your S/C with. Slapping aS/Con your car is half the battle.
