everyone has heard bad things... but has anyone seen it?

If you want to see for yourself, goto your local maaco every so often and see the turn out of cars there... look at the work they do before you give them your car to paint.

maaco can paint ur car how u want it..if u want the 500 dollar special then don't expect a miracle here, but i have seen several good maaco paint jobs becuase they will do everything right if u pay for it, and they will still be cheaper than the other shops...i got my beater re-painted by them for 644 dollars with paint and clear and i am by no means complaining about it...don't listen to the i heard crap

Yea...a beater...

I worked at a ford body shop all of last summer, we prided ourselves on making the car look brand new. If there was any orange peel, drips, or the color was off, we re-did the whole job. Thats how its supposed to be done, perfect...it takes more than a scuff, paint, and clear to warrant a good paint job. If you want your car another color, then by all means have macco spray it...but if you want a quality paint job, you have to pay for it.

Painting is VERY time consuming, it takes a lot of skill, expensive paint, and expensive equipment to do a good job. A good paintjob costs a good penny, its as simple as that.

i had my 87 olds 442 painted by them, fortunately it was white, i paid 250 for the job. and like everyone has said you get what you pay for, over spray, streaks.....it looked bad, but it was white so you couldnt see it unless you looked for it.

some people should get things straight, maaco is cheap because they do minimal body work & minimal taping, they do tape so the person that says they dont tape needs to get the facts straight. ive seen them paint because a friend useto work there. i personally wouldnt go there, id go to the ford dealership.
