Default CCRM help

Anyone know when your CCRM is bad will it still control some functions or will they all quit. My A/C comp is not coming on and my cooling fan is not working. I tried changing the temp sensor and no help there, but if I unplug the sensor the fan come on and stays on.

Default RE: CCRM help

allg32:

The CCRM has two or three relays in it so you are correct that some things (e.g.--fuel pump) will work but not others. I know very little about electrical stuff so I can't give you much troubleshooting advice. The Haynes manual is really good (schematics in the back) and it cost about 20 bucks (or less) at Autozone or Borders Books. Maybe your local Ford parts guy will let you test a new CCRM? (If you blow it up, you've bought it, lol). Last thing I can suggest is to run a search (here) and on other Mustang sites for "CCRM" and you should turn up a bunch of good threads.

HTH,

Chris
