Not true! They're just trying to get more money out of you, but it would be nice having a 12"... I'd personally just go with a 10", good enough for me and i can have a custom box built to give a harder kick, limit space that it'll take up,and weigh less then a 12" with a standard box..

See i didnt get the extra parts that im suppose to buy. lol so i did it all wrong, cut the wires then tried to wire what they gave us together.

ended up blowing a fuse lmfao. and now my dash lights dont work n all my fuses have been checked.

12" sub in a custom ported box with a great amp FTW!!!

built the box myself and it makes the sub sound twice as loud.
The 460 system is a huge pain. the amps wont work with any other speakers besides the original 5x7's because of the resistance. ive blown out all 4 original 5x7's (front drivers side blew out twice!) so i just go with my sub now for the low stuff. sounds better IMO because the doors dont rattle now

lol get a friend to help ya out. its simple. my idiot friend installed a navigation and touch screen system in his car.. he is clueless with cars. so if he can do it. you can do it!
