I have a buddy in our car club that has a TA, and he has a stock engine, with aftermarket trans, stall, suspention, etc.. but his motor is stock and ran a 7.80.. He loves to race if any of yall is up to it.

who ever said the ls1 will fall off, is completly wrong. those thing's shine up top.

and ls1's have dyno'd bone stock anywhere from 300-325rwhp i have seen

yeah gm posted there rwhp to keep insurance down... they 35 edition ss was said to have 345 at the crank but really has 345rwhp...

oh and to answer your question... yeah prob. not... even though the 98 ls1 comp. sucks (from what i hear) it should walk you from a dig a roll a w/e... they are faster than us... no 2 ways around it... a stock Z28 has 305 or 315rwhp...
