my 00' GT seems to making alot of valvetrain noise when i romp on it starting at around 4750 rpms...might i need a valve adjustment? if so, point me to a tutorial?

more than likely it is detonation, not valve clatter...the chances of your valves needing adjustment are VERY slim....detonation will sound just like valves clattering and usually only occurs during wot....did it start this after you did any exhaust/intake mods?..if so...youll need a tune

 

Talk about a late reply...eek...my computer shut down on me...the car has no modifications on it
