Normally at a light on the street your not going to be running full out SLICKS... and the Ground Beneath you isnt going to be prep'd like the Tracks are to MAKE it stickey.... (F&F with the Charger)

[sm=exactly.gif] That is how people should be thinking when building their cars for racing.. "How quickly can I get to the end of the track?" not "How high can I get the front tires and waste valuable time?"

My car rarely lifts the tires even with a 1.55 60'. It's set-up to go foward, not up.

I don't think it would be as hard as you you guys think.
Start off with full boltons, new clutch, 31 splines/carrier, 4.56 gears, adj shocks/struts, front 4cyl fox springs, some sort of rear spring (or cut stock) control arms, and some real sticky 26" slicks and i bet you could get it done.
I don't think its going to take all that much power, just the ablity to rev it up really high and dump the crap out of the clutch. Its not going to carry the front tires for any distance, but I bet a car setup like that would be able to pop them off the ground if you adj the shocks/struts to do that isntead of avoiding it.

plus a ton of power. anyone know about how much power is needed to lift the front end with all the right suspension/chassis mods?

suspension set up for it, built rear, slicks, new clutch, weight reduction up front.
