you fail sorry.....stanggang with full bolton (no UD pullies) got 20rwhp on LT with a bad tune.. saw the dyno sheet had full bolt on (minus UD pullies) we installed LT...came back from dyno...20rwhp..bad tune
you still said with tune, i mentioned nothing about a tune...tune = added hp. show me more than 1 persons dyno for it to mean anything.

all i know is that my tune was an ok tune. Not a good tune not a bad tune an ok tune. My car had all the mods listed below minus the t/b and plenum and it made 241 rwhp. I added 4 rwhp with the t/b and plenum thats why i said 245 rwhp.

Why do people always say that shorties are worthless? It gets me so mad. Some people should STFU if thet have no idea what they're talking about. [:@]

You guys should check out this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Building-5-4l-...517&sr=1-1

It will answer all of your questions about ALL aftermarket parts for the 4.6.

Shorties will get you 4hp on a BUILT 4.6...and peak hp was exactly the same.
Long tubes respond better to the npi than the pi, but are better in every application than shorties.

I wouldn't quite say they are worthless. They obviously flow slightly better than the stock manifolds, so that makes it worthwhile over stock. But for the money they cost they just don't offer enough of a gain for my tastes. Well, unless there is a turbo or two connected up to them!!

ONLY 246rwhp!!!!!!! stang gange was about 260-270....what are you people doing wrong!?
you have to understand man, each car take different to mods. if stanggang really got that up in power just by LT's, that's very rare for what he had. here's something else to prove it. Most poeple are saying TB/plenums don't net much, well with my car's 1st dyno with just that and a catback I dynoed about 20rwhp better than what most of my cars do stock. So TB/Plenum helped my car out a lot to breath.
