i am installing a procharger kit got the head unit all bolted to the car but when i try to swing the belt tensioner up it hits the supercharger bracket and i can't get the belt on over the waterpump pulley. anyone have this problem before i have triple checked andi can't see anymistakes, its alsothe right bracket and belt. its just hitting the bracket by a hair i wounder if i filed a little offwould it work. the car is also a 2003 GT

i have a vortech but its about the same thing. try putting the belt over the s/c pulley last.

Thanks alot that worked oh but it was still hard, tensioner was really stiff. are u driving your car without a tune

03-04 has a different tensioner . its the guard on tensioner that hits sc bracket . I put a new tensioner on when I installed sc & I cut the guard off . heres a pic of my old one w/ green mark where I cut so it wouldn't interfere .
