yeah i'll check to make sure theres no exhaust leaks but im pretty sure its not gonna leak because when i took it apart it didnt have gaskets there and it wasnt leaking like that with stock manifolds, but i will check to be on the safe side.

Did your headers com with a gasket for the passanger side? cause the one side of mine are flanged and the other is flared. The guy who was installing my headers today said that the kit didnt come with it, so he orderd one for me but wont be in till the next day. The other gaskets to the header to the engine were there. Im so freakin pissed so I called summit up and told them what happened. All they could say is sorry but they did give me a $25 gift certificate.
how much was labor for the install?

I was going to go with long tubes but i wentwith shortys because i was worried about bottoming out cause my car is lowered 2" but its up to you on wut u get. When i bought my carit had stock manifolds on it(obviously) and it went into an h-pipe then into flowmasters, so what im getting at is the shortys are the same length as stock manifolds but just bigger diameter for better flow, so it bolted right up to my h-pipe without extending it, but i dont kno how your exhaust is so you might need to extend it and you might not have to.

Glad to hear you were able to finish the project. i bought bbk ceramic shorties and catted x pipe and tried the install by myself, got soooooooooo frustrated with the headers ended up just putting on the x pipe and leaving the headers for another day. also my car is a daily driver and cant leave it sitting on jack stands. did you work on the header bolts from both top and bottom of car?
