Thanks man.. It was a pain in the a$$ to install!!! When me and my dad were doing the headers we had to quit many times from getting frustrated, but that one day we were working on it 5 hours straight. Yes we were working on the header bolts from top and bottom. We jacked the motor up and tweaked it to one side so we could have more room to get at bolts. The passager was a pain to get the header up there even with the motor jacked up. But we ended up finishing the headers up, and i would never think about doing that ever again!!!

 

I understand that, i still try to sike myself into it again this time i will have a friend help and have more time to do the install. Not looking forward to it buti guess i have to unless i want to pay $500 for someelse to do it. ( which for me is the puss way out)

 

Hey 96_Mustang_GT I got my car back last night. My mechanics called me like at 1030 at night saying that they were done I was so siked to go get it. I was surprised that my sound really mellowed out but it has a much deeper strong tone to it. With the stock manifolds it had a very loud high pitch. But I love the sound and I can deff. tell the power gain. My car revs so much smoother almost like a cadi now. Now I have to buy subframe connecters and a brake kit.

 

Nice to hear man. I just got done installing my starter, h-pipe and flowmasters and I started it up and it sounded like it had a deeper tone like you said yours sounded, now i gotta wait for salt on the roads to go away so i can take it for a spin!

 

Yeah just set a weekend up with you and your buddy and work on it all weeked to get it done. You will wanna give up when do the install cause it gets so frustrating..but its worth it in the end when u get the headers installed...good luck man!! let me kno how it goes
