Well, after a long conversation, I finally got the seller to admit that he had painted the yellow 1996 Mustang convertibleI was lusting after. It was originally a green car. So, thanks to all that responded to help me get past this buyer trap.

Since I am new to Mustangs, can anyone tell me where I should look for the paint code? I know that Mopars have codes on tags located under the hood, but where do I look for the paint code on a 1996 Mustang?
