I tried using the search but still need help with headers
Hopefully some people can give a little insight about something I don't really know much about.
What should I do:
MAC Long tubes (chrome)---$325 or (ceramic)---$470
BBK Long tubes (chrome)---$375 or (ceramic)---$475
Pacesetter LT’s (black)---$235 or (ceramic)---$370[/ol]
I want to pair whatever I get with a short catted h-pipe, most likely a BBK (its the cheapest I have seen).
I am on a tight budget but don't want to struggle for days putting them in/have them go to sh*t/have a bad sounding exhaust
Thanks!

Back to back dyno testing showed that all 3 brands were within the same window of performance. Pretty much all the primaries are 1 3/8 tubing all roughtly the same length so I would say use whatever brand you can afford.
i thought the bbk's were 1 5/8 idk i was looking at the bbks myself i actually found used macs with a short pipe with high flow cats for 550 on craiglst i gotta get my tranny rebuilt first so im stuck right now lol

The BBK may have a slightly larger primary, but higher exhaust gasvelocity isaffectedin doing so,sothe other brandsuse smallerprimaries to keep that flow characteristic.
