Removing spoiler, temporary fill?
Hey guys,
My friend has a 2003 Mustang Gt and he has an aftermarket steeda spoiler but he wants to take it off for a few daysand just kinda see if he likes the spoilerless look/feel better. However we live in florida and rain will start whenever. lol So what is something that he can stick in the spoiler holes for now, but that won't be a permanent substance/piece. Just somethin he can take back out whenever?
Any help/suggestions appreciated!
Thanks,
Tony

RE: Removing spoiler, temporary fill?
Go to your local auto parts store and get interior plugs like the ones that hold in your trunk liner in place (the ones you have to remove to replace the tail lights).
Also put a little RTV on them to prevent water (or other ****) from leaking into your trunk.
I ran mine like that for a couple of weeks wih no leaks and no problems. You should plan on getting some cleaner wax to clean up the contact surface where the spoiler used to be.

Thanks man, that sounds perfect! I know he has a Steeda spoiler on it so Idk if he cleaned the residue off yet, but if not, we should be able to take care of it.
