im just reallt bored at work and was thinking about this

so i got my new 04 gt. my buddy has a 98 cobra vert that i guess you can say is not in the best condition but i guess runs good and he only has flowmaster mufflers. now my gt has shorty headers, full slp exhaust, k&n fipk, 3.90 gears, lowered and is in really good running condition. i dont know much about the cobras you guys think it would be a good race? not sayin i am gunnna race him but if it happens one day. also will be getting it dyno tuned and a throttle body/ plenum installed soon. would that help at all?

 

hmmm. is his an auto or stick? does he have any mods done?

if no, than i think you can pull ahead a car or so. otherwise, if he has mods, i think he will still pull you. his vert gives him an extra 150 pounds

 

cobras only come in manual. if he just has flowmasters and you have the mods you said, you'll beat him.

 

oooo i didnt know this. baino has an automatic cobra i believe but his an an 01. so i thought it was optional. thanks for the heads up

 

yea there both manual and he only has the flowmasters. i mean his has almst 100K miles and i dont think it has been taken care of that well. i was just curious cause my dad told him he wanted to race him for slips just asa joke and that got me thinkin who would win.
