Default input shaft question

Working on puting together all the parts to swap from my 4r70w to a tr3650 and I just need to know if they use the same spline input shaft?

Just get a clutch to match the amount of splines on the input shaft on the new tranny. You'll need to install a pilot bearing as well.

I still have it currently...this project wont take place for at least a few months.

Just to clarify, I was referring to the input shaft that goes from the driveshaft to the tranny.
