hey i have a 2001 GT and i just bought a K&N Cold air intake and i was just wondering what i should expect from it like problems, power, sound...ect.

 

well, to be honestnot much of anything. CAI just dont do much boss

idk i thought the intake would add some HP i was thinking exhaust or something idk to much about stangs i just got it like 3 months ago

 

exhaust and intake are normal starting points. whats your price limit for an exhaust setup and does the state you're in require you to pass that wonderful emissions tests?

 

haha im in NY and i was looking at a Flowmaster or Magnaflow catback but i hear that doesnt add much power

 

none of the bolt-ons u buy are really gonna add but so much power. if ur looking for power then intake was a waste. u will get maybe 2 hp from the CAI. i suggest either exhaust for about 10 hp or gears. i, personally, haven't installed gears yet but a lot of people on here say they're the best bang for the buck. good luck
