Default Tuner question

I'm thinkin about buying a tuner for my stang. Has anyone ever bought a used one? I found a Diablosport Tunable Performance Programmer on craigslist for 300 bucks, seems a lot for being used and seeing how on american muscle their selling for $315. My question is, is a used programmer ok, and what would a reasonable price be?

Don't do it! No offense to the seller, but $300 used is BS!If you can pony up $300 for used then you can save just a few more for a new one from AM, RPM outet or some other reputable vendor.

thats what i figured, i just didnt know if a used one would work. i didnt know if when you buy one they make it specifically for your car. if a used will work i would prob offer him like 100 bucks.
