Okay I've only had this '01 for about a month now. A couple thing I have noticed about putting gas in it. I can only get about a half gallon to 3/4 gallon of gas in once the nozzle clicks before it starts to overflow. My manuel says I have a 16 gallon tank but I can never get more than 14 gallons in.

My fuel light came on earlier today. Once that happens I have to go straight to the gas station. I went about 15-20 miles with the light on and the car started to spudder. It was running out of gas. Luckily the station was right down the road so I costed in stumbling but made it. On the 3 mile trip from the gas station back home it still stumbled. Maybe air in the lines? I hope it straightens out. Is any or all of this normal?

 

well that 15- 20 miles with the fuel light on is obviously ur "reserve" part of the tank. ur manual might say 16 gallons but i researched the actual fuel capacity and i read its 15.7. still alittle far from only 14 gallons. when u say..."I can only get about a half gallon to 3/4 gallon of gas in once the nozzle clicks before it starts to overflow" do u mean gallons or 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank?
